On Saturday, October 20, 2018 the Town of Burns Harbor along with representatives from ArcelorMittal and the Indiana Historical Bureau dedicated the Legacy of Steel Historical Marker commemorating history and influence of the steel industry in Burns Harbor and Northwest Indiana.
