About Lakeland Park
Lakeland Park consists of 29 acres and a lake open for swimming. Lakeland Park is open on a seasonal basis: Memorial Day to Labor Day. An annual or daily entrance fee is charged. The park is staffed with a director, assistant director, maintenance personnel, lifeguards and gatekeepers.
Activities
A variety of activities without the crowds is what awaits you at Lakeland Park. Water enthusiasts can choose swimming, fishing, or ride in our row boats or paddleboats. The landlubber can walk the 3/4 mile path around the lake, play horseshoes, sand volleyball, and basketball. Children can burn off their endless energy at our playgrounds. Teams can take advantage of our softball and soccer field facilities.
Beach Hours
Swimming is available from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. when a lifeguard is on duty. In the event of inclement weather, the beach may be closed.
